1708 Biaxial is a fiberglass composite composed of 17 oz. biaxial (± 45deg) unwoven roving stitched fabric incorporating a 3/4 oz. chopped strand mat stitched to one side of the fabric. 1708 is used where optimum strength and stiffness, particularly in corners and angles, is critical.
