OOMOO® Series
1A:1B Mix By Volume Silicone Rubber

No Vacuuming – No Scale – Easy To Use . . . OOMOO® 25 & 30 are easy to use silicone rubber compounds that feature convenient one-to-one by volume mix ratios (no scale necessary). Both have low viscosities for easy mixing and pouring . . . vacuum degassing is not necessary. Both products cure at room temperature with negligible shrinkage. OOMOO® 30 has a 30-minute pot life, with a six-hour cure time. OOMOO® 25 is a faster version, with a 15-minute pot life and 75 minute cure time.

Mold Max® Series
Condensation Cure Silicone Rubber Compounds

Mold Max® Silicones are tin-cured silicone rubber compounds that have exceptional working properties and library life. Mold Max® Silicones feature Smooth-On’s exclusive “Libra®” catalyst for long library life. Mold Max® silcones can be pigmented with Silc Pig® silicone colorants. Pot life for the pourable silicones is 45 minutes and they cure overnight at room temperature.
Mold Max® Silicones will reproduce the finest detail and are suitable for a variety of industrial and art related applications including making molds for reproducing prototypes, furniture, sculpture and architectural elements. Mold Max® 10, 20 and 30 silicones can be thickened with THI-VEX® additive for brush-on applications. (Note: THI-VEX® is NOT compatible with Mold Max® 40). Mold Max® 60 offers highest heat resistance for casting metal (see separate technical bulletin)

Mold Max® STROKE®
Brushable Tin Catalyzed Silicone Rubber

Mold Max® Stroke® is a brushable tin silicone rubber that self-thickens for making fast brush-on molds of almost any model. Properly applied, it will hold a vertical surface and will reproduce the finest detail. Mixed 100A:10B by weight, rubber quickly develops thixotropy and can be applied with a brush or spatula. Working time is 20 minutes, re-coat time is 45 minutes and cure time after the final layer has been applied is 16 hours at room temperature.

Translucent Condensation Cure
Silicone Rubber Compounds

Mold Max® 10T, 15T and 27T silicone are water white translucent tin cured silicone rubber compounds that have exceptional tear strength and working properties. They feature Smooth-On’s “Libra®” catalyst for long library life. Mixed 100A:10B by weight, vacuum degassing is recommended for de-airing. Rubber cures overnight at room temperature.

Mold Max® 60
High Heat Resistant Silicone Rubber Compound

Mold Max® 60 is a Shore 60A tin catalyzed silicone rubber formulated for applications requiring high heat resistance
(up to 560°F/294°C). It features a low mixed viscosity and cured rubber exhibits very low linear shrinkage. Parts A & B are mixed 100A & 3B by weight. Pot life is 40 minutes and cure time is 24 hours. Applications include making foundry patterns, flat pattern reproductions and casting low-melt metal alloys such as tin and pewter.

Mold Max® 14NV
Low Viscosity Tin-Cure Silicone Rubber

Mold Max® 14NV is a Shore 15A tin-catalyzed silicone rubber that offers low viscosity, fast cure and long library life. Mold Max® 14 NV does not require vacuum degassing. Mix ratio is 100A:10B by weight. Working time is 40 minutes and cure time is 4 hours at room temperature. Mold Max® 14NV will reproduce the finest detail and is suitable for a variety of industrial and art related applications including making molds for reproducing prototypes, furniture, sculpture and architectural elements. Mold Max® 14NV can also be used to create movie special effects. Cure time can be reduced with Accel-T® cure accelerator. Mold Max® 14NV can be used to cast a variety of materials including concrete, wax, gypsum, low melt alloys/metals and urethane, epoxy or polyester resins.

eXtra Low-Shrinkage Tin Cure Silicone Rubber

Rubber Glass® II
Rubber Compound

Rubber Glass® II is an improved tin-catalyzed silicone rubber product developed specifically for special effects and display applications. Two liquids (3 Parts A + 1 Part B) are mixed together and poured into a container. The mixture cures overnight to a solid water clear rubber that can then be easily broken or “crumbled” into pieces that look exactly like broken glass, ice or diamonds. Vibrant colors are possible by adding SilcPig® liquid color pigments. Rubber Glass® II can be used to create a variety of special effects (i.e. simulated broken glass where human contact is required) and model effects (i.e. simulated ice or water). It can also be used for electronic encapsulation applications

Encapso K®
Water Clear Encapsulation / Display Rubber

Encapso® K is a water clear encapsulation rubber that looks just like water and is ideal for a variety of encapsulation and display applications.
This rubber is perfect for encapsulating artificial flower stems to create artifical water for floral displays. You can also pour Encapso® K around just about any inanimate object to encapsulate for display. You can also create a variety of display props and novelty items. Encapso® K can be used to create water/pond effects for small scale model environments. Fully cured Encapso® K can also be crumbled to look like broken glass, diamonds or ice. Add color to Encapso® K with Silc Pig® or Ignite® liquid color pigments.
